After falling headfirst into the vibrant world of South-East Asian spices in Australia, he returned to the UK and realised there was a gaping void in the jam scene. So, naturally, he made his own.
From humble beginnings — 40 jars at his first market in 2009 — to an award-laden empire in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, Simon’s creations have become a mainstay in kitchens, pubs, and restaurants across the country.
