Well, well, well… it seems you’ve stumbled upon the strange alchemy of Queen Majesty’s Red Habanero & Black Coffee Hot Sauce. Just when you thought habanero couldn’t get any more wicked, along comes the dark, brooding bite of coffee to jolt your taste buds awake. Perfect for slathering on anything you dare—burgers, pizza, or even a fry-up. With every spicy, bitter-sweet kick, you’ll wonder why no one thought to pair coffee and heat before. Trust me, this little beauty is not for the faint of heart, but if you like a sauce that’ll wake you up and leave you buzzing, you’re in for a treat. Namaste, brave soul.

  • The Label says:

Queen Majesty Red Habanero & Black Coffee Hot Sauce is a bold fusion of intense heat and rich flavour, crafted for those who crave something extraordinary.

As the hottest in the Queen Majesty lineup, this sauce boasts over twice the amount of hot peppers compared to their Scotch Bonnet & Ginger Sauce. Unlike their other sauces, this recipe skips the citrus juice, opting instead for two types of vinegar—Bragg’s organic apple cider vinegar and their own dark-roasted coffee-infused vinegar. The result? A subtle, smoky depth that complements the fiery red habaneros without overpowering the palate.

Perfect for hearty dishes like chilis, stews, and pizza, or as a flavour-boosting addition to fries, burgers, and falafel sandwiches.

Vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free, this sauce is a versatile, flavour-packed companion for any meal.

  • Ingredients

Fair Trade Coffee-Infused White Vinegar, Red Bell Peppers, Red Habanero Peppers, Sweet Onions, Garlic Cloved, Ginger Root, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Salt & Spices

  1. David

I’d have to agree with the previous pair of reviewers on this one: lovely flavour, a sophisticated pairing of dark coffee and smoky habanero, a nice colour and texture to boot, and damn fine on pretty much anything.

I don’t think Queen Majesty are capable of a bad sauce, are they…?

  2. Darren Holleywell

Perfectly complex and smoky sauce! I LOVE this sauce, my partner not so much (all the more for me) great on eggs, wings, fish and anything ive paired with it.

  3. Minimalcat

This is it. Queen Majesty absolutely nailed it with this sauce. The savoury and smoky darkness combined with the intense flavor of the red habaneros is a 100% match. Heat level 6 is appropriate imo.
