If garlic’s your god and pain your prophet, then step right up. Batch #37 is a garlic-drenched sauce for the truly devoted. Habanero heat meets the holy trinity of garlic, carrots, and spice. Pour it over pizza, drown your pasta, baptise your roasties—just don’t come crying when you starts speaking in tongues.

This used to be my fave hot sauce with loads of garlic, habanero heat and a nice thick texture with bits of garlic, habanero and carrot bulking it out. However since the Original Juan brand was sold out the sauce is watery and disappointing. Much better sauces out there for habanero lovers such as Yucateco extra hot habanero sauce (the brown coloured variety). don’t waste your money on this habanero sauce. Happily the other two Pain Is Good sauces, Jamaican and Louisiana style have survived the sell-out and are still great sauces.

Solid sauce, if you like garlic

Vile stuff, has a horrendous smell and taste which I can’t quite put my finger on and that lingers for way too long.
