I’ve been using Professor Phardtpounder’s Colon Cleaner for many years now so I reckon I can say with some degree of certainty that I must have one of the cleanest colons in the country.
The label always causes laughter in the shop but, once sampled, this is a sauce that blows people away.
Colon Cleaner is much more than just an amusing name. It is a serious Caribbean style, mustard-based sauce with Scotch Bonnet peppers and a touch of turmeric that all combine perfectly to produce a cracking flavour.
Colon Cleaner works fantastically with all cold meats, sausages, burgers, chicken, eggs, cheese and I’ve even got a customer who swears by it in his Bloody Mary.
Mark my words, this is one of the most veratile sauces out there and once you’ve tried it you’ll be back for more.
With regular use, you too could have a colon as clean as mine.

Not spicy at all

It’s mustard. Now don’t hate me for saying that, because mustard is one of the finest damn flavours on the planet. But it has a mild heat too, so it’s easy for the OAP’s and Kids (if you want to torment them.)
It’s tasty, a lot of flavour going on and even though I enjoy the hotter sauces, thi is the best of both worlds. Honestly, you can use this stuff on anything.

Despite the numerous label, this sauce has one of the best flavours I’ve tried in hot sauce. It’s not too spicy either and great to add a fruity kick to a ham sandwich or a burger.

Great mustardy flavor. Very versatile and goes well on and in a bunch of dishes

This is my absolute go-to for a flavour hit. It’s not as hot as a lot of sauces, but the flavour is rich and complex, and there’s still enough heat to add zing to tuna, eggs, cream cheese, soups or pizza. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t yet.

Silly but tasty. One of my favourite hot sauces, excellent taste. Is there any other mustard based sauce like this one? Best on sandwiches with egg. For me the heat level is just perfect. Always in my food cupboard

Sounds like a joke, tastes like anything but. It’s creamy, mustard and a little bit fruity from its peppers but, above all, it makes a tremendous toastie.
My only complaint is that it’s a bit weak for a Habanero sauce.
