The exceptional quality of Blair’s sauces is acknowledged by chilliheads the world over.
Blair’s Original Death is the one that started it all back in 1989.
I’ve been using this sauce for more years than I care to remember and I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed it on every type of food you can imagine.
I just find the flavour so damned addictive.
It’s got a nice kick, but it’s not too hot to use liberally. It’s got a great garlicky edge with nice smoky notes from the chipotles. It’s got… actually, I’m going to shut up, I’m beginning to sound like some kind of poncey wine critic.
Just take my word for it. Blair’s Original Death is a cracking sauce and you really should have a bottle in your fridge.
Did I mention the underlying spicy notes, the zingy lime plucked from its branch at four in the morning, and the dew-covered coriander?
Comes in a presentation box with great graphics and Blair’s trademark keyring attached to the bottle.

This used to be my everyday sauce before it was unavailable for a long time. So I’m so glad to see it back on the shelves. I think it is second only to Psycho Juice Habanero for me. Flavour is always more important than heat for me and I find this has a fantastic garlic and smoky flavour with the perfect amount of heat for general use. A truly brilliant sauce which can be added to anything. I particularly love it on pizzas and fish and chips.

This is a late kicker, it’s not too spicy but it gives you enough heat to enjoy some nice chicken wings. The flavour is also good, very natural.
