This was my first ever “challenge” at the weekend. Noted from the instructions and previous videos that there was no time limit to it. It wasn’t close to a level where I’d post a time to bother the top few, but it wasn’t as hot as I’d feared. Cleared the bowl in minutes laughing as I went.

The let down for me was the flavour. It wasn’t a pleasant bowl of noodles even beyond the heat. I’m sort of glad I did it, although clearing the bowl without a time limit wasn’t really in doubt once I got into my stride. The Samyang noodles some sites (clearly wrongly, having eaten both) list as the world’s hottest, are a much nicer flavour underneath the heat.

I’ve got a bag of Rummy Bear Reapers – from this site – in the cupboard that I expect to pose more of a challenge, when I give those a go in a couple of weeks time.
