For someone who’d rather have heat than sweet I’ve got to admit that even I was impressed with this sauce.
Blair’s Sweet Death is a million miles away from the cheap supermarket crap that tastes like someone’s whacked a bag of Tate & Lyle in a tub of Sarson’s and added a couple of chilli peppers for good measure.
It’s sweetness comes from honey, mango, passion fruit and sugar cane, and it’s moderate heat is a perfect balance of habanero and cayenne peppers.
Add to this a background flavour with a hint of cloves and black pepper and you’ve got yourself a sweet sauce that blows all other sweet sauces out of the water.
Comes in a presentation box with great graphics and Blair’s trademark keyring attached to the bottle.
