Dave's Gourmet Insanity Spice packs some serious fire power thanks to the addition of the pepper extract but it still retains all the amazing flavour of the habaneros.
As much as I love my hot sauces there are times when I need an alternative method of firing up my food.
Personally, if I'm having something like a stew, or a casserole, or gravy-type meal I prefer not to add more moisture by means of a sauce. That's when I reach for the Insanity Spice.
A quick sprinkle of this and it'll blast your food into another orbit. And when I say quick sprinkle I mean quick sprinkle because every single, innocent-looking flake is a veritable explosion of fire.
Whenever Mrs Burnorium and I go out for a meal she's always got a tub of Dave's Insanity Spice in her handbag for me.
It goes great on a nice juicy t-bone and if the service is a bit slow I'll tip a few flakes out and eat them one by one while I'm waiting.
I did once suggest to Mrs Burnorium that it could be fun to tip a tub of Dave's Insanity Spice into the pepper-grinder at our local Harvester but she didn't look too impressed with the idea.
